when you need to cough in an exam but you’ve already coughed like twice so you just sit there suffocating
i want to write the kind of short stories you read in english class that are on this weird level of surrealism that they still haunt you years down the road
Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.
— Hamlet, William Shakespeare (via clrfrncs)
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
~ Hamlet(via cywscross)
Characters like Hamlet - and I suspect John Keats will be like that too - just amaze me, they take me over, make me fall in love with them, make me stretch myself and want to be a better, more interesting person than I am. That’s why it feels like such a loss when I lose them, as if I’ve had to let go of their hand.
